What is it? 

Lavitan® Bio Complex is a multivitamin manufactured by CIMED, it contains a variety of 13 vitamins and 7 minerals, 3 of which are chelated (Zn, Cr and Copper). Providing complete supplementation.

Does it make you fat?

Lavitan® Bio Complex does not cause weight gain, as it does not contain carbohydrates, sugars or fats. When combined with a healthy diet and exercise, it can contribute to weight loss.

Does it contain lactose, gluten, sugar or carbohydrates?

As informed by the manufacturer, Lavitan® Bio Complex does not contain carbohydrates, sugars or fats in its composition.

Does it make you sleepy?

Lavitan® Bio Complex does not have a sedative effect (which induces sleep). However, when the body is adequately nourished, it can contribute to a better night's sleep.

Interactions with other medicines

This multivitamin contains vitamins and minerals that may interact with other medications, affecting their absorption, metabolism, or effectiveness. Here are some examples:

1. Medicines that reduce stomach acid: Vitamin C may increase the absorption of these medications.
2. Tetracycline-type antibiotics: The absorption of these antibiotics may be reduced if taken with iron supplements. It is recommended to take them at separate times, two hours apart.
3. Anticoagulant medications (such as warfarin): The presence of vitamin K can interfere with blood clotting.
4. Osteoporosis medications (such as bisphosphonates): The calcium in the multivitamin may affect the absorption of these medications. Take them at different times, two hours apart.
