What is Nasaliv for?

Nasaliv is indicated to relieve and treat the symptoms of flu and colds, such as headaches and body aches, fever, nasal congestion (blocked nose) and runny nose.

How does Nasaliv work?

Nasaliv combines three substances that work together to relieve flu and cold symptoms:

  • Paracetamol: reduces pain and fever.
  • Phenylephrine: decongests a blocked nose.
  • Carbinoxamine: reduces runny nose.

These ingredients help relieve pain, fever, stuffy nose and runny nose, which are common with colds and flu.

What should I know before using Nasaliv?

If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid or liver problems, use Nasaliv only under medical supervision.

Diabetics

Barbiturates and Tricyclic Antidepressants
Do not use Nasaliv together with barbiturates (such as phenobarbital and thiopental), tricyclic antidepressants (such as amitriptyline and nortriptyline), carbamazepine or alcohol, due to the increased risk of liver damage.

MAO antidepressants and high blood pressure medications
Avoid using Nasaliv if you are taking MAO inhibitor antidepressants (such as phenelzine and iproniazid) or hypertensive effect medications, as there may be a risk of hypertension.

Phenytoin
The combination of phenytoin and Nasaliv may reduce the effectiveness of paracetamol and increase the risk of liver toxicity.

Probenecid
Using probenecid with Nasaliv may decrease the efficiency with which paracetamol is eliminated from the body by up to two times, increasing the risk of side effects.

Alcohol

When should I not use Nasaliv?

You should not use if:

Side effects and adverse reactions of Nasaliv
